In the very first episode of the week, Paige gets a rather unpleasant surprise for her birthday, when she learns of Eve and J.J.'s affair. Amid all this betrayal, Paige decides to confront her mother about the affair.

Eve is only too shocked to find that her secret is no more a secret and to add to her misery, Paige also announces it at her party, the sordid details of her mother's past, which ensues in Paige slapping J.J. Meanwhile, Jennifer is left in a rather awkward situation for covering the secret.

Later, Nicole will be seen trying to gather more information on Serena's background, even as it puts her life in danger. Besides Serena, Nicole has her hands full with Eric and Xander as she works on her relationship with Daniel. Serena catches in on Nicole digging into her past and is scared more than ever. Also, Serena plans to escape the situation by planning a trip to Hawaii with Eric.

In the consecutive episodes, issues begin to arise between Adrienne and Justin, as her suspicions keep growing. Meanwhile, Will has the shock of his life when he catches Paul and Arianna in the act.
