New details on the release date and features of Vigil Games and Nordic Games' "Darksiders" Warmastered Edition have surfaced.

Vigil and Nordic announced that "Darksiders" Warmastered is set to launch on Oct. 25, PlayStation Lifestyle has learned. As per the publication, the title is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows, which suggests that the upcoming title is set to be playable on a variety of platforms.

As cited by Game Rant , the game is set to have major improvements, which center on the title's visuals. According to the publication, the title is set to run at 1080p/60 frames per second for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One; on the other hand, it is bound to run at 30 frames per second on the Wii U.

It is further revealed that the Microsoft version is above average in terms of quality, as it runs with 4K resolution and it has more video selections, among others.

As per reports, the game has the following features: Apocalyptic Power, which unleashes War's wrath, brutal attacks, and extraordinary abilities; Extreme Arsena, which features fiery abilities; Epic Quest, which involves combat across the wastelands and dungeons; and Character Progression, which features antiques, weapon upgrades, new abilities, and gameplay customization.

Developed with Vigil Games and published by Nordic games (previously THQ), "Darksiders" is an action and role-playing hack and slash video game. Set in an apocalyptic world, the player assumes the role of Apocalypse's "Four Horsemen," War. The gameplay mainly involves battles, puzzles, and exploration of a realm that is divided into various locations until War reclaims his lost abilities and weapons.

Overall, Vigil and Nordic's "Darksiders" Warmastered Edition is set to come out on oct. 25.
