'Darksiders 3’ News: Pre-Orders Open Now For December Release Date?
Online shop Base.com has already listed the preorder for "Darksiders 3" along with the revelation of a Dec. 31 release date for Xbox One.
It's not clear where the online shop got its "Darksiders 3" release date from as certainly there were no confirmation from Nordic Games or any of the official news channels on that regard.
Nevertheless, Base.com is a UK website and according to the listing, anybody who preorders the game can get free shipping anywhere in the UK. Unfortunately for US buyers, they may have to shoulder that cost along with the £49.99 ($58.50) price tag.
According to Game N Guide, news about the looming release date for "Darkside 3" has been circulatiing in the Internet for quite some time now.
The rumors basically started when Nordic Games acquired the rights to the title from THQ and Vigil Games.
It's also not clear who will be the playable character in this one, although if Vigil Games' Joe Madureira is to be believed, players can choose from any of the Four Horsemen in a multiplayer mode. At least that's what the original intention was.
It's not clear if Nordic will adopt that concept, especially in light of the rumors that Fury and Strife would be put under the spotlight for now, with the remaining Horsemen to be unveiled in "Darksiders 4."
For now, however, fans will just have to wait for the release date to be announced for the "Darksiders 3." It's certainly been a long time for the franchise as the sequel was launched in December 2012.
