'Dark Souls 3' Update 1.03 Patch Notes, Details: Boosts Frame Rate; Game Price Cut Down

In line with FromSoftware and Bandai Entertainment's video game "Dark Soul 3," the PC patch reportedly got a performance boost while it price has been cut down on its release.

The PC version patch for "Dark Souls 3" is now running smoothly, after some reported issues on its graphics, WCCF Tech reported. As per the publication, the game is now consistently running with 60 FPS, which was previously at 24 to 30 FPS. In addition, the areas with previous 30 to 40 FPS are now at 55 to 60 FPS.

Previously, "Dark Soul 3's" PC version patch has some performance issues with regard the late game areas and some users reported that there were notable frame rate drops in specific game locales.

With "Dark Souls 3" 1.03 PC patch resolving the problem, the latest game version can now be viewed as the best game among its predecessors. The said patch has also been released for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions in Japan and players from other territories who have pre-ordered the game can pre-load it on Steam in order for the download to start prior to its release day.

"Dark Souls 3" has also got some PC deals recently. According to Siliconera, the game is one of the game listings with price discounts. The game's price is now $45.20 from $59.99 while the deluxe edition is now sold at $67.49 from $84.99. Along with "Dark Souls 3," "Bayonetta 2" for Wii U is also priced at $20.70 from $29.96 while "Quantum Break" for Xbox One is now at $47.99 from $59.99.

The new patch "Dark Souls 3" is set to be released on Apr. 1, together with the console versions in Europe and North America.
