'Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers News: Leaked Images from Set Reveals Matt Murdock and Karen Page’s Romance

When 'Daredevil,' the American Web television series based on Marvel Comics returns to Netflix for Season 2 early next year, fans will finally see Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) in a budding romantic relationship. An image leaked recently from the sets of the shows the two characters holding hands.

IB Times reports that the blind vigilante actually won many viewers' hearts when Netflix premiered 'Daredevil' Season 1 in April this year. Although Matt Murdock and Karen Page just remained friends throughout Season 1, there were some clues that something might come about between the two, and the recently leaked photo confirms their romance.

In the leaked image, Charlie Cox is seen dressed up in a black suit, with Deborah Ann Woll, on what appears to be a romantic night stroll. However, the couple's romance is unlikely to be a smooth ride, as the show creators have confirmed the arrival of Elektra in Season 2

'Daredevil' Season 2 will introduce Elektra, portrayed by Elodie Yung, who is the love interest of the Daredevil. However, her violent nature and mercenary way of life eventually result in a break up between them in the comics.

In a recent interview with IGM, Marvel chief creative officer Joe Quesada has shared some details regarding Elodie Yung's role as Elektra in 'Daredevil' Season 2. Quesada told the publication, "I can't say enough about Elodie Yung. Literally, we scoured the world for the right Elektra and, man, she is the character. She looks like the character, she walks like the character, and then she has the martial arts training and stunt background that she can rely on."

The Marvel executive further said, "It's going to be really, really awesome to see her take over the role and see how she embodies and how she personifies Elektra. But again, another world-class actor who I think is going to bring something really special to 'Daredevil.' And I think we established a really good tempo with Season 1, so fans can hopefully expect much more of the same."
