'Daredevil' New Netflix Series News: Official Teaser Video Finally Released [TRAILER]

Marvel has finally given fans its official first look at its Netflix adaptation for the new 'Daredevil' franchise series by means of a new trailer.

Outside of some of the pictures and teasers, fans couldn't get a real grasp of how the series was going to look on the small screen, but that has all recently changed.

The trailer features actor Charlie Cox at Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, in his initial costume. From what viewers got to see, it is safe to determine that the show itself will be really dark and gritty, not somewhere where Marvel usually takes it's superheroes.

"The trailer, which uses Matt Murdock's visit to a confessional as a framing device, includes flashes of the footage that was debuted at New York Comic-Con's 'Daredevil' panel this past October and includes shots of most all the cast members -- including Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page and Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson. We only get a glimpse of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin from behind, however," writes CBR.

Marvel has released this official synopsis on the series:

"Marvel's 'Daredevil' is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night."

The show will release all thirteen episodes the day of it's debut of April 10th. The episodes themselves will be an hour long.

This show carries a lot on its shoulders by not only being Marvel's first Netflix series, but being the show to carry in many more to enter in its universe. 'Jessica Jones' is scheduled to appear next starring Krysten Ritter.
