'Daredevil' New Netflix Series News: Marvel's Matt Murdock's New Functional Costume

Fans finally got their first look at Charlie Cox's Daredevil in his signature costume as the series has been released on Netflix with all its 13 episodes.

Up until now fans have only received shots of his prototype ninja look, and while this led a lot to believe that Marvel would be going another route with the character's outfit in the series, the producers have confirmed that we would see the iconic costume at some point.

While they call it the original costume in the motion poster, we only get to see from the chest up, and it appears that the showrunners went with a more functional and sporty look rather than the skintight leathery look.

Here's Marvel's synopsis on the series:

"Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero 'Daredevil' in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City."

"Marvel's Daredevil is one of the best known properties of the street level heroes and will be the the first of four epic live-action adventure series (Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Marvel's Iron Fist, and Marvel's Luke Cage, all leading up to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel's The Defenders) that delves into the backstory of how Matt Murdock evolves into Daredevil."
