'Daredevil' Netflix Series Trailer Video: Marvel Releases Teaser for New Superhero Series
Marvel has entered into collaboration with Netflix to launch a new live-action series titled 'Daredevil,' which will tell the story of a fearless man. 'Boardwalk Empire' actor Charlie Cox has been selected to portray the role of the gutsy superhero in the new series.
In addition to Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent D'Onofrio will star in the new 'Daredevil' series.
Already, Netflix has released a trailer of the series and it is said to induce dark as well as creepy feelings. According to Christian Today, on the one hand, the show is expected to show plenty of bloodshed, on the other, it will depict PG-16 level violence. Hence, the series has received a TV-MA rating.
The story of 'Daredevil' revolves around the activities as well as flaws of Matthew Murdock, a brave blind lawyer in the courtroom. This fearless attorney not only strictly abides by the book, but is also depicted as a vigilante who is thirsty for justice and when the night falls, he deals with issues himself.
In the recently released trailer of the 'Daredevil,' fans can hear the superhero's voice resonating when he seeks forgiveness for a task that he is about to perform. While his plea plays in the background, Daredevil accomplishes his plans to bring down someone down. While the Daredevil is on his mission, the trailer intermittently follows some characters that appear to be in fear, agony and misery. A lot of bloodshed is also shown in the trailer.
While earlier there were a number of endeavors to bring Daredevil out of the comics and into the screens. Ben Affleck played as the blind Avenger back in 2003 under 20th Century Fox. The film was not a flop but it was not a big hit either.
Daredevil is well known to Marvel fans for his scarlet costume, but he will be donning a black ninja-style costume in the Netflix series. His gear in the series will be similar to that he wore in the "Daredevil: Man Without Fear" comic book series.
According to Netflix, the first season of 'Daredevil' will have of 13 episodes and they will be available to Netflix subscribers worldwide on April 10.
