'Daredevil' Netflix Series News: Full Length Trailer Released - Features Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin

Marvel has finally released their second trailer for their upcoming Netflix series 'Daredevil'. It not only gives fans a detailed look at their interpretation of the dark city Hell's Kitchen, but also offers the first look of Vincent D' Onofrio as Kingpin.

The studio released this excerpt for the trailer:

"It's time to let the devil out. Marvel's Daredevil is here to clean up the streets of Hell's Kitchen, New York. Lawyer by day, street-level hero by night, Matt Murdock is on a mission to make his city a better place against an underground terror within the city."

Much like in the first teaser, viewers get to see actor Charlie Cox suit up as Matt Murdock's Daredevil, but the trailer tells more about how he even became the masked vigilante. A short training montage is teased and a young version of the character is revealed.

The show will serve as a origin story for both Matt Murdock and Kingpin so both characters will appear a bit less refined than they do in the comic book world. They're represented in the show as very similar men who find different ends to their means.

"Daredevil is set in Marvel Studios' cinematic universe, and is the first of four Netflix series that will lead into a team-up miniseries featuring the stars of each solo series (much like The Avengers did with the Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor movies). Along with the aforementioned cast, the series also stars Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Bob Gunton as Leland 'The Owl' Owlsely, Vondie Curtis Hall as Ben Urich, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk," writes Digital Trends.

'Daredevil' premieres on Netflix on April 10th, and fans can binge on all 13 episodes, if they want to, as all 13 will be released on the same day.
