'Dancing With The Stars' Season 22 Spoilers, News: Doug, Karina Went Home; Wanya, Lindsay Reign As Best Performers?
Doug Flutie and pro Karina Smirnoff have been eliminated in ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" season 22. Also, Wanya Morris and pro Lindsay Arnold reigned as the best performers of the night.
According to TV Line, Flutie and Smirnoff stood as the worst performers of the night. They danced with a Bollywood Inspired musical accompaniment from the film "Slumdog Millionaire." As per the publication, it was given that Flutie gave his best; however, the overall act presented a "sloppy jig" that was comparable to an uncle delivering after too many drinks at a Thanksgiving dinner. The duo got a score of 21/30 from the judges.
Opposite to the weakest partners are the best performers of the night in Morris and Arnold. According to TV Line, the duo performed a jazz inspired by N'Sync's 2000 MTV VMAs performance, which would turn someone into a human counterpart of the iPhone's heart-eyes emoji.
Along with the music, the duo managed to deliver the act with intense and crazy crisp energy, not to mention that Arnold let Morris shine on the center stage that night. With them owning the dance floor, the partners received a score of 29/30 from the judges.
Palge VanZant and pro Mark Ballas were the runners-up for the best of the night while Antonio Brown and pro Sharna Burgess were the most improved duo. Along with Flutie and pro Smirnoff, Von Miller and pro Witney Carson were also in jeopardy in the recent performance.
According to Access Hollywood, next week is going to be a more exciting series of performance from the stars and the pros, since it is going to be Double Elimination. It is suggested that outstanding performers have to maintain their ranks while those who got average scores this week should be able to amplify their scores next week.
"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 airs on ABC.
