‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 21 Premiere News: ABC Releases Performance List

With the two-part premiere of 'Dancing with the Stars' kicking off in a few hours from now, the long wait for the reality dance competition on ABC will finally be over. The first part of the celebrity dance show will commence on Monday, Sept. 14 featuring all the contestants of this season along with their partners.

Christian Today reports that ABC has just released the performance list and the songs to which the couple will dance to in the two-part premiere on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 15.

According to the list released by ABC, honored Army National Guard specialist Alek Skarlatos and his partner Lindsay Arnold will dance to "Ten Feet Tall" by Afrojack ft. Wrabel, whilst actress Alexa PenaVega and her partner Mark Ballas will dance to the tune of "Whistle (While You Work It)" by Katy Tiz. This will be followed by pop star Andy Grammer and his pro partner Allison Holker performing to "Marvin Gaye" by Charlie Puth ft. Meghan Trainor, while Australian wildlife conservationist Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough will dance to Elton John's "Crocodile Rock."

Similarly, 'Big Time Rush' star Carlos PenaVega and his partner Witney Carson will perform to James Brown's song "I Got You (I Feel Good)" during the first part premiere of 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21, while international music icon Chaka Khan and pro dancer Keo Motsepe will dance to her own song titled "I Feel For You."

The list is certainly a long one. Actor Gary Busey and his partner Anna Trebunskaya will dance to David Bowie and Mick Jagger's song "Dancing in the Street" for their first performance, while the social media star Hayes Grier and Emma Slater will perform "Cheerleader" popularized by Omi. Then again, reality show veteran Kim Zolciak Biermann and Tony Dovolani are set to perform "Hey Mama" by David Guetta. On the other hand, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter his partner Sharna Burgess will perform to the tune of "I Don't Like It, I Love It" released by Flo. Rida and Robin Thicke.

The queen of Southern cooking Paula Deen will team up with Louis van Amstel to dance to Carol Welsman's "Hey Good Lookin" on the first night of the two-part season premiere on Monday. In addition, R&B singer Tamar Braxton and his partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy is will be dancing "Do Your Thing" by Basement Jaxx, while Victor Espinoza and dance partner Karina Smirnoff will dance to the song "G.D.F.R." by Flo Rida.

Following Monday night's performance, ABC will air a performance recap on the second part of 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21 premiere on Tuesday. The telecast will also feature the never-before-scene footage collected from the previous episode. A preview for Week 2 may also be aired at that time.
