'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21 Predictions, News: Who's Going to Win the Mirror Ball Trophy in 2015?
With ABC finally releasing the complete list of celebrities who would be taking to the ballroom floor in 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21, various media outlets have started predicting the couples that may win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy and those that would be out of the reality dance competition before the finale, reports Christian Today.
According to Buddy TV, Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin can dance their way to the top. However, the site says their victory will largely depend on Hough, who reached top 4 in the previous 11 seasons of 'Dancing with the Stars' he participated in.
On the other hand, Carter Matt has compared Irwin to Sadie Robertson, who had some good performances in the show's Season 19 despite not being previously exposed to the field of dancing. Fans may possibly see the 17-year-old Australian wildlife conservationist going right up to the final round of the show.
Meanwhile, Buddy TV is also of the view that Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson will be the power couple in 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21 will. Carson won Season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro, while the PenaVega was part of the band 'Big Time Rush,' which did a lot of dancing and choreography.
However, both the websites concur that Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys could win the whole thing, as the '90s boy band members appear to almost always perform well in the competition. For instance, Drew Lachey (98 Degrees) won in Season 2, while Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block), Joey Fatone and Lance Bass (both from NSync) went all the way to the top 3.
If this trend is any indication, Carter may already visualize himself with that Mirror Ball Trophy. Along with Sharna Burgess, who danced for the first time in the show with Noah Galloway in Season 20, it wouldn't be so difficult for the duo to win 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21.
Then again, most media reports suggest that Paula Deen, Gary Busey, and Chaka Khan are unlikely to last that long in the contest, while opinion on Andy Grammer is divided. The age of Hayes Grier, 15, this season's youngest competitor, may also cost him to go home early, if 15-year-old Willow Shields' journey in the competition last season is any indication.
'Dancing with the Stars' Season 21 premieres on ABC on Sept. 21.
