Recently, fans of 'Dancing with the Stars' got a chance to a see a new couple on the scene as Partner Switch Up Week was well underway. For those that may have missed it, Alek Skarlatos and Emma Slater seemed to be perfect for each other on the dance floor.

Last week's episode showcased the pair dancing the Rumba to James Bay's "Let It Go," and quite the spectacle it was. After that rumors sparked about how the two may really feel about each other.

According to a report by the Inquistr, Slater and Skarlatos did not try to hide their affection for each other, and seemed to be definite 'crushes." The rumors were further sparked after co-host Erin Andrews went ahead and said the pair should go on an actual date.

The little joke went even further as the dancers said it's not such a bad idea, barring the magazine, Glamour, foot the bill.

Soon after Monday night's performance, E! Online got the 23 year old soldier into an interview who was blushing after her spectacular performance, she said, "It was a blast, obviously, in case you couldn't tell."

On that note, some fans of the show may be wondering whether or not there's romance in the air as DWTS has paired together a few couples in the past. However, the only really successful couple following the show is Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson.

There is a skeptical side to this whole DWTS romance deal, and that's if the contestants are using it to their advantage to garner votes. While none of this can be proven per se, it does make sense that a couple would pull in more fans than another pairing.

On that note, 'Dancing with the Stars' fans should be sure to catch every new episode Monday nights on ABC.
