'Dancing with the Stars' 2015 Cast Rumors: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Joins For Season 20?

While many TV shows are being cancelled just after two or three seasons, it is interesting to note that "Dancing with the Stars" continues to be a favorite reality show even after 19 seasons. Neither the star power nor its attraction to the viewers has declined a bit. This is evident from the fact that the fans have already begun speculating about the contestants of the next season of the long-running show.

As numerous rumors and speculations are emerging on the Internet with the passing of each day, several probable cast names are doing the rounds. Some of these names are really interesting. In fact, Christian Today reports that the show may take a political direction in Season 20 provided Robert F. Kennedy Jr. accepts an invitation from the showrunners.

Rumors about the possibility of Kennedy started floating after his daughter Kick posted a message from her father seeking her advice in this regard.

A recent report in the New York Daily News says that the message from Kennedy to Kick read, "I just got solicited to do a show called 'Dancing with the Stars.' They will pay me $150,000 to commit and additional $350,000 if I make it into the semifinals in a televised dance contest. I know that some of you have seen me dance and I thought it advisable to consult you as I consider this offer."

Most people are aware that Kennedy certainly has a few dancing moves up his sleeve, because it is well-known that he and wife Cheryl Hines to Adele's song "Make You Feel My Love" danced during their wedding and they did dance front of all the guests.

As the rumors regarding Kennedy spread, it created a stir in the media as well as political circles because this would be the first time that a politician has been invited to participate in a reality show like the "Dancing With The Stars." The rumors notwithstanding, neither Kennedy nor anyone close to him has responded to them.

Meanwhile, other names doing the rounds for "Dancing With The Stars" Season 20 include Chris Soules and Ross Lynch.

The casting rumors aside, showrunner Rob Wade is working hard to ensure that the upcoming season much better than the earlier seasons. Talking to The Wrap, he said that Season 20 will be "a celebration, but we're still going to be innovating. It's still going to be fresher than ever. I want to build on what we've done this season. I want to build on the performances. I want more fun, more humor."

As of now, "Dancing With The Stars" Season 20 is scheduled to return on March 16 for its 20th season on ABC.
