'Dancing With the Stars' 2015 Cast Rumors: Will Khloe Kardashian Compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy?
If ABC fails to rope in Caitlyn Jenner to join the cast of 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 21, it is likely that another member of her family will contend for the Mirror Ball trophy in the upcoming season of the dance reality show. According to some recent reports, Jenner's stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian may be a part of the celebrity dance competition in 2015, reports Christian Today.
Khloe Kardashian is the third daughter of Jenner's ex-wife Kris. Khloe along with the other members of her family feature on E! Network's reality television series titled 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.' Earlier, Khloe also appeared in quite a few reality spin-offs such as 'Kourtney and Khloe' with her eldest sister, in addition to the 'Khloe and Lamar' show, which featured her married life with ex-husband Lamar Odom.
If these reports become true, Khloe will be the third Kardashian who will be contending for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy. Earlier, her older sister Kim participated in 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 7, while her younger brother Rob competed in Season 13 ending up second.
As of now, there is no confirmation regarding Khloe's participation in the show.
In the meantime, earlier this month, Caitlyn's representative denied that she would be joining the show in the upcoming season. The publicist of the current ESPY's Arthur Ashe awardee told Entertainment Tonight that Caitlyn will not be a part of 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 21.
The publicist is quoted as saying, "There is not, nor have there ever been, any negotiations on this matter." Caitlyn's representative further said, "They inquired if she was interested in participating in the show and I said no thank you. That is the extent of the communication."
Had she consented to participate in the show, Caitlyn could have been the very first transgender woman to compete on the 'Dancing With the Stars' dance floor. In fact, a number of pro dancers have already expressed their desire pair with the former Olympic gold medalist, including five-time Mirror Ball champions Derek Hough and Val Chmerkovskiy.
According to reports, Caitlyn's hectic schedule stopped her from joining the show, as her upcoming E! documentary titled 'I am Cait' will premiere on July 26. The documentary will deal with her difficult journey from being Bruce Jenner before she eventually confessed her true sexuality.
'Dancing With the Stars' Season 21 will premiere on Sept. 21 and the cast list will be announced before that.
