‘Dancing With the Stars' 2014 Finale Results: Mirror Ball Trophy Awarded to Alfonso Ribeiro

'Dancing with the Stars' finalist Alfonso Ribeiro has won the Mirror Ball Trophy as is hailed as the season's grand champion. Ribeiro paired up with Witney Carson and obtained perfect scores for their routines. Ribeiro has been performing since he was young and he is the first male celebrity winner.

"I cannot believe this, I've wanted it forever!" said Alfonso while in tears.

"He deserves this so much," added Carson, TV Line reported, "he's one of the most hardworking people I've ever met."

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas came in second and Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy are third placers.

The winning pair got a total score of 120 points, the second pair gained 118 points, and the third couple scored 117 points.

Ribeiro and Carson performed Cha Cha and Argentine Tango number that earned praises from the judges without a hint of criticism, according to TV Line.

"You're a legend, man," commented Italian choreographer Bruno Tonioli, according to Wet Paint.

Robertson and Ballas presented a Samba and Quickstep blend. Professional Ballroom dancer Len Goodman compared Robertson to a princess in a dance. American choreographer Carrie Inaba praised her as a good role model.

Parrish and her partner danced Foxtrot and Paso combination through Kiesza's "Hideaway" song. The number highlighted the couple's chemistry. Tonioli said that the dance was elegant and classy.

Meanwhile, the show also featured behind the scenes of the contestants throughout the season. Rehearsals and conversations among contestants were shown in the clip.

Jennifer Hudson performed "Go All Night" in the show. Meghan Trainor sung a medley of "All About That Bass" and "Lips Are Moving." Nick Jonas presented his new hit "Jealous."

The previous contestants of the show also performed in their respective numbers.

'Dancing with the Stars' Season 20 will commence in the Spring of next year.
