'Dance Moms' Season 6 News: Maddie Ziegler Performs With the Rockettes

Maddie Ziegler, the "Dance Moms" young star is starting to take her career to new heights.

Abby Lee Miller, Ziegler's mentor and coach, posted photos on social media showing Ziegler practicing with the "Rockettes" during her trip to New York last week. The photo was captioned:

"@MaddieZiegler enjoyed her day learning rehearsing cleaning and performing with the Rockettes!"

"That's not the first time a member of the #ALDC kicked up their heels - many #ALDCAlumni have shared the stage as Rockettes and chorus dancers/ singers! Even my little ones who were featured as Clara or the children in the Christmas Spectacular loved to learn those fab routines!" she added.

Abby is glad to say that her student has "learned from the best" according to IB Times. She had only one thing to say to Maddie's critics: "I told you so."

Ziegler was recently nominated at the People's Choice Awards. The 13-year-old dancer took it to social media to say how much she's overwhelmed by the acknowledgement of her talents and requests the fans to vote for her.

A caption in her Instagram post reads: "I'm so in shock that my name is on the ballot for the People's Choice Awards. Help me get to the next round by voting for me! Link is in my bio."

According to ENSTARS, Maddie is expected to leave reality television to advance her career in the entertainment industry. It appears that fans are very supportive of the young star.

The cast of "Dance Moms" is expected to appear on Fierce Dance Competition on December 12 in Van Nuys, California, also according to IB Times.

"Dance Moms" returns to Lifetime on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
