With all of the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the ALDC's final competition in Pittsburgh, as well as her family's move to Los Angeles, Holly Frazier was also preparing for the release of her daughter Nia's music video, entitled "Star in Your Own Life."

Holly was obviously excited about her daughter's project in Season 5 Episode 17 of Dance Moms, "Showdown in Pittsburgh Part 1," which aired on Tuesday, but the rest of the dance moms were not so happy.

Holly observed that they may have been angry or jealous, but they certainly were not happy. Nia's premiere party took place on the same day as a JUMP Dance Convention, so the only ALDC team member who attended was Jojo Siwa.

However, the dance moms, and the Candy Apples did attend. Abby also showed up at the event, surprisingly, after she said that she would not have been able to attend due to a teacher luncheon.

Abby did not seem to agree with the costumes that Nia wore in the video, or the video's theme, but at the end of the video she applauded and blew Nia a kiss.

Nia thanked Abby in her speech, saying, "I have to thank her because she is the reason why I'm dancing and if I wasn't dancing then I wouldn't be here".

Abby congratulated Nia for a job well done, but to the Dance Moms cameras, she did admit to being disappointed in the project because it did not show what she thought was a true reflection of the reality of a dancer.
