'Dance Mom' News: JoJo Sent Pornographic Material By Mentally Unstable Fan

'Dance Mom' star Jo-Jo Siwa, age 12, has been targeted by a mentally ill man from San Diego who has been sending her a few packages, some of which included pornographic materials. Phoenix Sundown, age 36, reportedly sent around five packages to Jo-Jo's Dance Moms fan mail address.

When they were opened, some were found to contain disturbing items. U.S. Postal Inspector Tammy Maylee spoke about the packages in an interview with Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV: "They contained items that were inappropriate for minors - harassing stalking items."

The disturbed man was arrested on 4 charges that were considered felonies because they involved sending obscene images to a minor.

In addition to those charges, he was also charged for one count of animal cruelty.

He was given a $250,000 bail, and if found guilty of all 5 charges he will be put away for five years and eight months.

Already heavily tattooed, Sundown had recently added another piece of ink to his collection - this one an image of Jo-Jo on his neck.

TMZ reported that Sundown has a record from 2007 for assaulting his girlfriend, who was only 18 years old. He was diagnosed as mentally unstable at the time.

Prison counsellors from Sundown's time in prison have come forward to TMZ about his bizarre behaviour:

"During counseling there ... doctors discovered Sundown had several photos of women with red pen and wax markings on their breasts and crotches. One collage showed a Lindsay Lohan pic with trails of red dripping on her body, and Sundown holding a long knife over her. He also copped to writing to Spin magazine about his sexual fantasies with several other female celebs, but said he never contacted them directly."

Sundown also sent 11 packages to Maddie Ziegler onset.

He maintains that he doesn't see anything wrong with what he did - he is just communicating with the girls using cryptic messages via social media. He also claimed that codes were used to confuse advertisers.

Dance Moms has been renewed for another season on Lifetime, butsigns indicate that not all of the girls will return to the set.
