Southern Gospel formation The Lesters, announced that Dan and Ginger are leaving the ministry.

Dan and Ginger are parting from The Lesters to serve First Baptist Church in Annapolis, MO, where Dan will be the pastor of the church.

The Lesters mentioned in their newsletter, "Dan & Ginger will be extremely missed and we pray that God will bless them as they continue to share the gospel."

Ginger will be staying with the The Lesters till a replacement is found. Currently, The Lesters are looking for a male vocalist-tenor, to join forces of the ministry. What other than a voice is a condition to become part of The Lesters full time ministry? The priority number one is to find a Christian man who is willing to serve in the family ministry with his tenor voice, help and participate in any capacity to deliver the story of Jesus Christ. A great help would be if the candidate on the position would have a CDL licence and a will to help drive the tour bus. Candidates on the tenor position need to include a personal bio and resume, three character references, and personal salvation testimony.

In their newsletter, The Lesters ask for prayers, "Change is never an easy thing so we ask that you please pray for all of us that this transition time will go as smoothly as possible. "
