The Green Bay Packers will go head-to-head with the Dallas Cowboys on January 11 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Packers attempts to extend their current winning streak to three games when they encounter the Cowboys in the second round of the NFL Playoffs.

"[The Cowboys] are here for a reason. It's going to be a huge game," said Green Bay free safety Micah Hyde to reporters.

"We don't pay attention to them being 8-0 on the road because they haven't come here and beaten us here at Lambeau, but it's going to be a tough matchup and we understand that."

Green Bay previously defeated their NFC North foes the Detroit Lions by a final score of 30-20 on December 28, a game where Packers QB Aaron Rodgers went 17-22 for 226 yards, highlighted by two touchdown passes in the win.

"It's clearly an MVP performance -- another MVP performance -- by Aaron Rodgers," said Packers head coach Mike McCarthy to reporters.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are looking to extend their winning streak to five games when they invade the Packers' home turf on Sunday afternoon.

"Guys like football and guys understand the history and tradition of the NFL and the Cowboys and Packers," said Dallas head coach Jason Garrett to reporters.

"It's an exciting game to be a part of."

Previously, Dallas crushed the Detroit Lions by a final score of 24-20, where QB Tony Romo went 19-31 for 293 yards, highlighted by two touchdown passes in the victory on January 4.

"You just have to stay in the moment and understand the game," said Romo to reporters.

"It doesn't end after the first quarter, second quarter. You just have to keep calm. I've played enough games to understand that. Maybe I didn't do that as well when I was younger."
