Curb Records’ Sidewalk Prophets makes Grand Ole Opry debut

Nashville, Tenn. (July 11, 2024) – Curb Records’ Sidewalk Prophets made their Grand Ole Opry debut this week, 7/9. While stepping onto the famous stage and performing their current single, “Hurt People (Love Will Heal Our Hearts),” the band also surprised the audience by performing “Looking Up” with American Idol Season 21 runner up, Megan Danielle. With a plaque presentation at the Grand Ole Opry, Sidewalk Prophets also celebrated the RIAA Gold Certification of “The Words I Would Say,” “You Love Me Anyway,” and “Live Like That.”

“Playing the Opry has been a lifelong dream,” shares Sidewalk Prophets frontman Dave Frey. “Stepping on that stage reminds me that God is so good and that our journey has been blessed beyond measure!”

Along with their Grand Ole Opry debut, Sidewalk Prophets celebrated the RIAA Gold Certification of three singles; “The Words I Would Say,” which peaked on the Christian airplay charts at #3, and “You Love Me Anyway,” which peaked at #1, both from their album These Simple Truths, along with “Live Like That,” which peaked at #2, from their album Live Like That.

Recently wrapping their 20-city “Songs & Stories Tour,” their current single, “Hurt People (Love Will Heal Our Hearts)” can be found climbing the Christian radio charts.
