'CSI: Cyber' Season 2 Premiere Date, News: Charley Koontz Talks How The Series Can Be ‘Horrifying’

"CSI: Cyber" actor Charley Koontz revealed that the second season of the CBS series could be "horrifying," according to recent spoilers.

Koontz plays FBI special agent Daniel Krumitz in "CSI: Cyber." In his interview with Assignment X, Koontz said that the show was celebrating technology, which was amazing, along with all the things people could do with it. The actor added that they could be horrifying, comparing it to a peanut butter, wherein eating a giant bucket of it would not go great.

Koontz also suggested that working on the CBS series had made him wary of his own computer in reality. He said that when one read code or read about a backdoor Trojan virus and about such kind of stuff in the script, one would think that that did not mean a whole lot.

According to Koontz, people were there to explain things, saying that such were terrifying and looked like numbers, but they were not just numbers. For the actor, that was the number that was getting in and sharing all of one's personal stuff and putting one in danger.

With regard to what to expect from "CSI: Cyber" season 2, Koontz teased that it was a lot more about the characters and a lot more about having a job that took eighteen hours to crack one code, making it somewhat difficult to have a family life and relationships that were interpersonal in any kind of way.

In "CSI: Cyber" season 1, fans witnessed Krumitz's sister murder the man who was accountable for their parents' death. According to TV Guide, "CSI: Cyber" season 2 episode 11 will see the team scrutinize what seems to be a hack into air traffic control's communication system.

The episode will also see the rise of a bigger threat, wherein a flight disappears into thin air, drawing the team into the very first case of "cyber-hijacking."
