‘Crusader Kings II: Way of Life’ DLC Release Date Details: Added Content & Features Coming Next Week

Developer Paradox has revealed that they will be releasing the "Way of Life" downloadable content, or DLC, expansion for 'Crusader Kings II' on Tuesday.

The 'Crusader Kings II: Way of Life' DLC expansion will be available at digital storefronts on Dec. 16 at a price of $7.99 for PC, Mac and Linux players. At that cost, it's clear that Paradox has added a lot of features to make it a worthwhile purchase.

The political strategy game is offering more control and more options when it comes to its role-playing elements, according to IGN.

With "Way of Life," players do not have to wait for affairs and scandals to happen to their characters and can take a more active role by choosing who to band with or who to break off from. There are also hundreds of new events added to the game, and it was built with a more character-focused system that integrates these events with the player's life.

"Way of Life" also allows players to nix the expensive war games and challenge certain enemies to duels instead, according to Sports Keeda.

With the new diplomatic interactions element that has been added, players can choose to spy on people, free prisoners of their choosing, duel others, seduce people, break up with them, and more.

Players can also build their "way of life" through the Focus, allowing them to choose and shape their own character development throughout the game. There are also 20 new event images available that are tied into whichever Focus the gamer decides on, with specific events corresponding to a specific Focus.

Choices of Focus in the game include War, Family, Carousing, Seduction, Rulership to be a better king, Business where gold is good, Hunting which is for killing beasts, Intrigue for those interested in spying, Scholarship for those who love to learn and Theology for a more religious direction.
