'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny' Teaser Trailer, Release Date Unveiled [VIDEO]

No wonder Netflix is every American's must-have. The streaming company exhilarates us once again as it drops the release date and an exuberant teaser trailer of the sensational martial arts and fantasy film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny."

Embodying the essence of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," " Sword of Destiny" acknowledges the core Chinese principles, honor and duty, as the inspiration behind every skilled warrior, reports The Verge.

A visual delight, the film feature's breath-taking stunts, as well as traditional and modern martial arts techniques, reports Latinpost.

Malaysian Actress Michelle Yeoh, who is best known for performing her own stunts, reprises the iconic character Yu Shu Lien. The female protagonist is given the duty of safeguarding the legendary Green Destiny sword once owned by Li Mu Bai.

Acting alongside the veteran action-heroine are "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" actor Donnie Yen and "Glee" alumn Harry Shum, Jr.

The film is directed by respected martial arts choreographer Yuen Wo-Ping who boasts "The Matrix Trilogy" and "Kill Bill 1&2" in his pody of works. Shot in New Zealand and China, the film is based on the novel "Iron Knight, Silver Based" by Wang Dulu.

Ang Lee's original film hit the theaters 15 years ago in 2000. It was lauded for its death-defying combat scenes, distinct martial arts, and exemplary visual effects which all complimented the movie's heartfelt story line.

The follow-up to the Oscar-winning "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "Sword of Destiny" rolls out simultaneously on Netflix and select IMAX theatres on Feb. 26, 2016.
