Cristiano Ronaldo News: Soccer Star Shows Off New $18.5 Million NYC Loft

Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, age 30, has arrived in New York in style, reportedly paying a massive $18.5 million dollars for a swanky 2,500 sq. foot New York apartment, according to The New York Post.

The Portuguese soccer star finalised a deal on Aug. 12th for the 1983 Trump Tower apartment that features a stunning view of Central Park.

The three-bedroom apartment is located in the Big Apple's famous Trump Tower on 721 Fifth Avenue. It boasts a faux limestone entryway, lavish built-ins, recessed lighting, and a mix of hardwood and carpet.

Cristiano's move to New York could be a signal of exciting things for dedicated soccer fans. There have been many reports of the Real Madrid star joining the Major League Soccer after his current contract expires in 2018.

Initial speculations pointed towards Cristiano moving to Los Angeles, but this recent massive real estate deal now hints at New York as being his choice.

If Cristiano moves to the Big Apple, he will probably join one of New York's Major League Soccer teams: New York City FC or the New York Red Bulls. Either way, New York fans of the player are waiting with bated breath.

Meanwhile, Cristiano is focusing on things other than football. On Aug. 7, he debuted his newest CR7 Underwear collection by wearing some of the pieces himself and performing some celebrated soccer moves.
