Along with talks involving that Savannah would die in "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 18, it has also been revealed that Derek Morgan is set to bid farewell from the show.

"Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 18 is entitled "A Beautiful Disaster." According to The Christian Times, it has been rumored that the episode is set to be the last appearance for Morgan. As per the publication, a previous episodes of the series suggest that Morgan's persona is "spiraling down" and with the character battling with his inner conflicts, his ability to serve with the BAU might be compromised.

According to Ecumenical News, Savannah could be killed in episode 18, if not Morgan. A promo clip featured the latter going into a house, with Penelope realizing that he was engaging into a trap. Morgan learns that the house has a number of monitors and someone is quietly loading a gun with bullets.

The conclusion of the clip saw Morgan say "baby girl," which was followed by Penelope dropping the phone and rushing out.

Showrunner Erica Messer has shared her thoughts about Morgan's fate in "Criminal Minds" season 11. In her interview with TV Line, Messer said that there was a lot going on with Morgan, adding that he was really taking up the fans' "emotional head space" for a good volume of the midseason stretch.

According to Spoilers Guide, the BAU is set to investigate the one responsible when an unsub targeted the BAU. It follows the events in episode 17, "The Sandman," where the BAU headed to Wichita to track down an unsub who kidnapped children while their parents were asleep.

"Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 18, "A Beautiful Disaster," airs on Mar. 23 on CBS.
