‘Criminal Minds' Season 11 Spoilers: BAU Deals Abducted Women After Truck Stop Murders' Investigation?

Along with the investigation of truck stop killings, an case involving women who were held captive for years is expected to be the focus of "Criminal Minds" season 11, according to recent spoilers.

According to Carter Matt, "Criminal Minds" season 11 will see an 18-year-old girlescape from a suburban home where she was held as hostage for years, along with two other women. In line with this, the episode will also see the BAU search for the unsub who abducted them.

In addition to the kidnapping issues, "Criminal Minds" season 11 will also related to Derek Morgan (Shemaar Moore), as hinted by series showrunner Erica Messer. In her interview with TV Line, Messer said that there was a lot going on with Derek, adding that he was really taking up fans' emotional head space for a good chunk of the midseason stretch.

Messer also revealed that Danny Glover is set to guest star as Morgan's father in a "Criminal Minds" episode, entitled "Derek." In another interview with TV Line, the showrunner said that it was an interesting role that he played, adding that the reason Morgan needed to call on this protector in this moment and work through some things was really beautifully penned by Breen Frazier and directed by cast member Thomas Gibson.

Previously, fans saw in "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 13 that the BAU hit the road to search for puzzle pieces that could let them solve a case involving several murders at the truck stop restrooms along the Southern highways, as per Christian Post. The publication added that the group's aim to pinpoint the prime reason behind the UnSub's acts.

"Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 13 is set to air on March 2.
