'Criminal Minds' is set to air its latest season on Wednesday, October 1, via CBS network at 9 pm. Beyond that, spoilers about the upcoming Season 10 reveal some interesting changes to the series.

Spoilers and a few of behind-the-scenes photos of Aaron Hotchner and Thomas Gibson on set have been released. According to Enstarz, the spoiler pictures were all over the Twittersphere. The official Twitter account of 'Criminal Minds' retweeted the photo, with a caption that read, "We out here doin' this #criminalminds thing."

TVLine, provided a synopsis for the first episode of the 10th season:

"The BAU team investigates a series of murders in Bakersfield, California, which have left the victims unidentifiable. Also, the team welcomes new agent Kate Callahan into the BAU fold."

Additional spoilers mention a new agent that will supposedly join the current BAU team in new season. Jennifer Love Hewitt will play the new agent, Kate Callahan. It is reported that Kate Callahan is supposed to be Blake's replacement, but Kate will be fresh unlike Blake, who has history with many members of the team.

Erica Messer, executive producer said, "The idea is that they've been down an agent all summer. They've been interviewing a lot of people and Hotch meets with her and says, 'you got the gig'...you're going to get to know her from the ground up and she won't remain a mystery."

She also mentioned that there won't be any nostalgic moments in Season 10. Fans should not expect to get the same feelings they got when watching the previous "The Reaper" episode. She said, "We're going to be moving on to new, fresh mythologies."

The first episode is reportedly called "X."
