'Counting On' News: TLC Show's Future Remains Uncertain?
Amidst rumors that the TLC network is cancelling the show, the members of the scandal-plagued Duggar family are apparently not giving up on their careers as "Counting On" stars that easily.
"Counting On" is undeniably one of the most controversial shows ever shown on the network, and it is quite understandable that many of its advertisers do not want to have anything to do with the Duggars anymore. A representative from Chattem revealed that the show is currently on the company's "do not buy list." Big Lots has also made sure that its ads would no longer air during the show.
Since it won't be long before the show completely loses all of its advertisers, and since its ratings have dropped by almost a million viewers since season 1, many believe that "Counting On" will no longer see the light of the day.
Recent reports suggest that the Duggar kids already want to quit the show for good since Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have already done too much to ride on the coat-tails of their family. The children of Jim and Michelle are reportedly already fed up by Jim and Michelle's cashing in on their personal lives. According to reports, they feel that the two are only taking advantage of them to sustain their lavish lifestyle without any plans of saving up for their future. Also, the kids have already had enough of all the cameras hanging around them all the time.
As of now, TLC has not yet officially announced the cancellation of the series so it remains unknown whether "Counting On" will or will not get a third season.
