'Constantine' Season 2 News, Rumors: CW Set To Revive 'Constantine?'
While fans are still holding on to the hope that "Constantine" will be renewed for another season, recent reports claim that the NBC series is set to have its new home on The CW.
The network is reportedly in the market for a new series that will air every Friday night. There are speculations that since "The Vampire Diaries" holds that time slot, and since the series is reportedly not going to be renewed for another season, "Constantine" will be the one to fill the void.
Last month, The CW acquired rights from NBC to stream "Constantine" season 1 in full and for free. This left an impression to fans that the move was no coincidence, and that the network was already trying to get a good read of "Constantine's" potential audience.
Fans believe that if "The Vampire Diaries" comes to an end and CW wants to keep its Friday night horror scene in play, then adopting "Constantine" would be a wise move.
There were also previous reports that the series will make a comeback on The CW, especially since "Supergirl" is also set to move to the network, which is known as the home of DC Comics superhero television shows. One year since the first season was cancelled by NBC, fans are still hoping that "Constantine" will carve a spot on The CW.
Just recently, actor Marc Guggenheim posted a photo on his Twitter account showing the cast of "Legends of Tomorrow," where one of the persons was deliberately pixelated. Many speculate that it could be Matt Ryan, and that his character, John Constantine, might actually make an appearance on "Legends of Tomorrow."
