'Constantine' Season 1 Spoilers: Series Fans Awaiting News From NBC About Renewal

The hit supernatural series "Constantine" has one more episode before the season finale. Fans are hoping that the show will be renewed for another season soon, but even the actors aren't sure whether they will be filming another season at this point.

Matt Ryan, who plays John Constantine, says that he would like to see even more DC storylines brought to the show in future episodes. He gave fans a glimpse of some ideas for the show going forward should they be granted a second season. Ryan also discussed what fans could expect in the season finale.

According to Ryan, fans should be on the look out for Papa Midnite, Corrigan, and new developments in Jim and John's relationship. Also, there will be new layers to the stories of Jim becoming The Spectre.

There is a reveal at the end of the finale about the Brujeria and what that means for the storyline.

When Ryan was asked where he hopes the story goes from here if they are renewed, Ryan responded, "My favorite arc from the comics is the 'Dangerous Habits' arc, and I don't think that would be Season Two, I think that would be further down the line, but that's something that I would really love to get to. It's my favorite run of the comics."

When Ryan was asked specifically about the direction of a hypothetical Season 2, he responded quickly. "I also love, and what could be a possibility for Season Two I think, is the Family Man arc," he said.

The show only received a short order 13-episode first season but has grown a tremendous fan base.

As of now, the show has not been renewed, and while it looks like it may be canceled, no official announcement has been made by NBC.

Fans will have to continue to wait for news on the fate of "Constantine."
