Connie Britton News: Actress Talks Beauty Secrets & New Magazine Cover

'American Crime Story' actress Connie Britton who will soon be seen on TV screens, playing the character Faye Resnick, recently glowed on the cover of New Magazine for its summer-fall issue this year. Britton talks of all about beauty and how the internal beauty best affects the external.

At 48 years old Britton looks fresh and still very beautiful and she just shared her beauty secrets. While some might have the impression that Britton talked about hair products or make up products, apparently the actress believes in taking care of the spiritual and internal aspect of a woman that helps in producing a natural young glow.

"My body is still in good shape, but it's more about the wisdom for me," Britton shared with the magazine adding, "If you serve your spirit, all of a sudden at this age, life is less scary, less overwhelming. Maybe that's the whole secret to life. It's not that bad getting older, you can enjoy it."

Britton, known in the industry for quite some time now shared how unreal women are on Television saying that others shouldn't make them, including her on her shows as standards of beauty. "Everything [people] see from Hollywood, on television, in movies and in magazines is doctored, it's not real," she said. "I really don't want to feed into that. The best advice I can give to any woman, or any young girl, or even my younger self, is to not give in to that pressure."

And apparently Britton also believes in everything natural sometimes excluding hair products. "I can go for days without washing my hair, and people freak out about that," she admitted. "It gets better from the natural oils that make it shiny and make it do what I want it to do."

And in her very fit physique, Britton also gave an advice for women to also try to apply. That is, eating healthy and treating oneself every once in a while. "My philosophy on life impacts my diet. I don't want to create a vision of a woman who is starving herself, but I also like to feel good, so I tend to stick to certain healthy foods that do that. But, I love cake, and I eat it sometimes-even though I don't always feel so great afterward," she said.
