'Codes of Conduct' New Series, Cast News: Helena Bonham Carter and Rebecca Hall Join HBO Series

New reports have surfaced saying A-List actresses Helena Bonham Carter and Rebecca Hall have joined the cast of an up and coming HBO series. The two have officially joined the cast of director Steve McQueen's new 'Codes of Conduct' series.

While 'Codes of Conduct' has yet to air its pilot episode, The Guardian has provided a general synopsis about its story. Their article reads, "The drama follows a young black man, played by Devon Terrell, as he rises through the ranks of New York high society, and tries to keep his mysterious past under wraps."

In regards to the two new cast members, Helena Bonham Carter and Rebecca Hall, their roles have already been planned out.

Bonham Carter will assume the role of a wealthy divorcee, while Hall will play the part of a billionaire's daughter, The Guardian reports.

Beyond that, the source reads, "Paul Dano also recently joined the cast, as an altruistic entrepreneur who helps give Terrell's character a leg up into the high life."

On that note, McQueen is not alone when it comes to writing for the series. He's joined by 'World War Z' writer Matthew Michael Carnahan.

Stepping back to the 'Codes of Conduct' cast, McQueen himself said, "I needed to find an extraordinary actor ... Although you're trying to find something you recognize, it's more about finding something you're surprised by. Devon had this quality."

While 'Codes of Conduct' has already stepped into its filming phase, McQueen revealed that it's not the only project that he's dedicating his time to. Apparently, he's begun to work on a film about activist and singer Paul Robeson.

On the topic, McQueen said, "His life and legacy was the film I wanted to make the second after Hunger, but I didn't have the power, I didn't have the juice."

Stepping back to 'Codes of Conduct' not much is known in regards to its premiere date or any spoilers about the pilot episode. However, on a side note, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, and Russell Simmons will stand as executive producers on the series.
