'Coachella' 2015 Lineup, Dates, News: Festival Packed with Big Name Artists
The Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival is a three-day event that defines some of the best music in this generation. This is the Festival's 16th year, and its impressive lineup just goes to show - some things get better with age.
Speaking of age, Coachella is bringing back some names that the teens of today might not recognize.
Steely Dan is one of the more surprising names on the lineup, according to CBS. However, a more familiar name will be headlining for Coachella on Friday. AC/DC is a rock favorite, and its popular logo is splattered all over the festival's fliers.
Coachella wouldn't want to deny its biggest fan base their favorite artists, as this giant event will star some of the most popular artists of 2014.
Drake, for one, is dominating the stage on Sunday, April 12th and 19th. He is expected to play a lot of his hit songs those nights, including tracks from his album "Take Care" and "Nothing Was The Same."
Not to be outdone, Coachella regular Tyler the Creator will be performing his music with possible guest appearances from his crew. Tyler was also in Coachella's 2013 and 2011 lineup. Jack White will also be making an appearance this year. He headlined with Bonnaroo in 2014 and is eager to come back for more.
It's clear that Coachella has a surprisingly star-filled lineup for 2015. This year's festival will go through two consecutive weekends from April 10th to the 19th.
