Clyde J Releases New Single, Title Track "Better" From Upcoming Album, Following Mother's Passing, Daughter's Birth
Up-and-coming Neo-Soul Gospel artist Clyde J today releases his latest single, "Better," which is also the title track on his next album releasing later this year. The Louisiana native's uplifting new music showcases Clyde's power, passion, and perseverance, as he continues pressing to break through in hopes of becoming a Gospel mainstay.
Following the release of his "What I Need" last year, the new single "Better" is Clyde J's anthem for pushing through tough times and leaning on the Father who will make all things better.
"The words to 'Better' were birthed out of an emotional time of hurt and joy," Clyde shares. "The passing of my mother and the birth of my daughter happened just a few weeks apart."
"God was using my pain during loss and my joy of being blessed to formulate the lyrics to this song," he continues. "The good and bad in my life were ingredients to make a 'Better' version of me for my next season in life."
With "Better," Clyde hopes to equip listeners with a weapon to take back their power through Christ. He explains, "So many times our situations, struggles, and circumstances strip us of our power and faith. This song puts the listener in the position to drag all those issues into the presence of a holy God who makes everything 'Better' and all things new."
Celebrating the release, Clyde J is inviting the public to attend the special music event, "PRESENCE OF BETTER: An Evening of Passion and Praise," featuring Clyde J, Alicia Hardy-Montgomery, and Marty The Greatest live in concert on Saturday, July 14, at 3 p.m. at El Bethel Worship Center in Slidell, La.. Entry is free of charge.
"Better" is available to stream and download everywhere now, including Spotify, Google Play, and iTunes.
