"It was a total team effort," said Irving to reporters.

Meanwhile, the Kings (16-26) are looking to prevent a possible eight game losing streak when they battle the Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Previously, the Kings lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 119-102 on January 28 after Sacramento small forward Rudy Gay scored 22 points in a losing effort.

"We had a chance to stop the bleeding, we didn't and they ran off with the game," said Kings center DeMarcus Cousins to reporters.

"Whichever team decided to be the first team to play defense was going to win the game and they decided to play defense first. That's the story."
