The Cleveland Cavaliers will go one-on-one with the Portland Trail Blazers on January 28 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cavaliers (26-20) are looking to extend their current winning streak to eight games when they go host the Trailblazers on Wednesday night.

Previously, Cleveland defeated the Detroit Pistons by a final score of 103-95 on January 27, a game where Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving had 38 points and 6 assists in order to propel his team to the victory.

"That's the luxury of playing with a great player like LeBron. When he's on the floor, you know there are going to be things opened up for the rest of you," said Irving to reporters.

"Tonight, we had a lot of open shots, and we got enough of them to go down."

Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers (32-13) are trying to extend their winning streak to two games when they face the Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Previously, the Trail Blazers defeated the Washington Wizards by a score of 103-96 on January 24 after Portland power forward LaMarcus Aldridge totaled 26 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals in the victory.

"You can't say enough," said Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts to reporters in reference to Aldridge postponing surgery that would fix his left thumb until the offseason.

"That was big time. Not only coming back and playing through the injury but then not favoring it, going hard, not shying away from contact, being aggressive on both ends of the court -- I mean, that was big time."
