The Cleveland Cavaliers will clash with the Los Angeles Lakers on January 15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Cavaliers (19-20) are looking to prevent a possible seven game losing streak when they face the Lakers on Thursday night.

"I thought he was terrific," said Cleveland head coach David Blatt to reporters in reference to 'King' James' recent performance against the Suns.

"It is not new for anybody. I just thought he laid it out there. That wasn't an easy thing because he hasn't played a competitive game in eight games."

Previously, Cleveland lost to the Phoenix Suns by a final score of 107-100 on January 13, a game where Cavaliers superstar small forward LeBron James had 33 points and 7 rebounds and 5 assists in his long awaited return after a two-week hiatus due to a lower back and left foot injury.

"I couldn't make those moves two weeks ago," said James to reporters.

"For me to come back and feel like myself again is pretty cool."

Meanwhile, the Lakers (12-27) are looking to stop a potential three game losing streak when they face at the Cavs at the Staples Center.

Previously, Los Angeles lost to the Miami Heat by a final score of 78-75 on Tuesday night after Lakers power forward Ed Davis had 12 points and 8 rebounds in the defeat.

"The hard part is sitting down for stretches and then trying to get back in," said Kobe Bryant to reporters.

"I feel like the Tin Man, you know what I mean? But that's just part of the process, part of the challenge. It's not something I'm whining or complaining about. I'll just work through it and get my legs used to playing again."
