The Cleveland Cavaliers will go head-to-head with the Charlotte Hornets on December 15 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cavaliers (13-9) are looking to halt their current two game losing streak when they defend their home floor versus the Hornets on Monday night.

Cleveland recently fell to the New Orleans Pelicans by a final score of 119-114 on Friday night after Cavaliers superstar Lebron James scored 41 points in the loss.

"I'm trying not to think about it while I'm out there. Just try to go out and play," said James to reporters in reference to returning to the lineup after he missed the previous game due to a knee injury.

"Obviously, it's a little sore now, you know, just coming from one game off, but I'm going to continue to do what we need to do to strengthen it and get it back right and make sure I'm OK."

In addition, Cavaliers superstar point guard Kyrie Irving totaled 17 points and 7 assists while dealing with a previous left knee injury.

"[He] showed heart and the character to get out there and play as hard as he could," said Cleveland head coach David Blatt to reporters in reference to Irving's performance.

Meanwhile, the Hornets (6-17) will attempt to avoid a possible three game losing streak when they battle the Cavs at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Charlotte recently lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a final score of 114-87 on December 13, after Hornets small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 15 points in the crushing defeat.
