Cleveland Cavaliers NBA 2015 News: Kevin Love Plans to Come Back for the Cavs by Next Season

Injured forward, Kevin Love, though unable to help his teammates currently during the NBA finals, still stated that he intends to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers next season.

Love has been forced to sit on the sidelines by a left shoulder injury, and he can opt out of his contract after the end of this season.

However, on Sunday, in his first statements since undergoing corrective surgery for his injury, the three time All Star stated that he will choose to remain with Cleveland.

Interviewers asked him whether there was any question of whether he would return next season, to which he responded: "I truly haven't even thought about it, but as I mentioned, I expect to be suiting up by Game 1 of next year."

The interviewer replied with the follow up question of whether he was implying that he would be playing with the Cavaliers next season, to which Love simply replied, "Yes, sir."

Love has lost almost 15 pounds during his recovery, and says that it has been hard to watch from the sidelines as his teammates continued to advance to the finals, which begin on Thursday at Golden State.

However, he is excited for them, and is looking forward to traveling to away games in the near future, as he continues to recover.

Love has also stated that while he initially believed that Kelly Olynyk, who pulled his arm from its socket, injured him intentionally, he has reached out to Kelly since the incident, forgiving him and accepting what took place as an accident that occurred during a moment of intense game play.
