'Civilization 6' Release Date, News: Title Unveils The Return Of The Great Wall [TRAILER]
Following its Egypt Reveal, Firaxis Games' "Civilization 6" has shown fans what to expect from the Sleeping Giant, China, which includes the return of its iconic Great Wall.
The Great Wall of China comes back in Firaxis' "Civilization 6." As per the clip, it is revealed that the famous tourist spot provides a unique improvement to the land. In addition, the Great Wall gives defense and gold to the players are they construct the structure. However, emphasis was put on the player's ability to keep dedicated people to build the Great Wall, just like in history.
Along with the defense it provides, the Great Wall is also set to give players bonus culture and tourism mid-game. This is due to the structures historic and appeal in history.
China is also a great focus civilization in the early game, just like Egypt; However, the former can be much more concentrated in defense due to its Great Wall, which serves as a "formidable barrier" that protects in the early game.
Aside from the protective Great Wall, it is revealed that the Chinese civilization is led by Qin Shi Huang in "Civilization 6." He rejoined the warring Chinese territories and eventually became the emperor of the dynasty. He brought a positive change to the Chinese empire with his economic and political reforms, along with the popular Terracotta army, as per PC Gamer.
Qin can also use his men to build ancient and classical structures and wonders. With its dynastic cycles, China receives a huge boost from its eureka and inspirations, as opposed to the other civilizations.
Firaxis Games' "Civilization 6" is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linus on Oct. 21.
