Christine Cavanaugh was well known for being the sweet voice behind the heroic pig, Babe, in the 1995 film 'Babe'. Unfortunately, she was 51-years-old when she died on December 22nd, and the cause of death remains unknown.

Christine Cavanaugh was a voice actress who played the roles of various cartoon characters. Some of her most familiar roles belong to the cartoon shows of the 1990's, including Chuckie Finster from 'Rugrats', Dexter from 'Dexter's Laboratory', and Oblina from 'Aaahh!! Real Monsters'.

On a side note, her voice acting for Dexter earned her the Annie Award.

Before the famous voice actor retired from acting in 2001, she made several guest appearances on-screen. She appeared in 'Everybody Loves Raymond', 'Wings', 'The X-files', and 'E.R'. She also played Mrs. Remo in 'Jerry Maguire'.

Cavanaugh's obituary described her acting as reflective of the person Christine really was. It reads: "Many know her from the roles she played, but in each role there was a part of her showing through that the ones who truly knew her could see."

In a documentary about making the 'Rugrats' film, Christine Cavanaugh talked about her voice acting as a type of energy. "...It deals with the magical world of childhood and wonderment and imagination," she said.
