Christian 'Real World/Road Rules' Star Diem Brown Reveals Hearfelt Message For 'Peace' Before Dying of Cancer [VIDEOS]
MTV star Diem Brown revealed a heartfelt message regarding her faith before she passed away from ovarian cancer on November 14.
Brown is best known for starring on the popular reality series titled 'Real World/Road Rules' for many seasons on the MTV network.
"Diem loved hard, lived hard and danced hard," said Brown's weeping sister Megan at the funeral, according to People Magazine.
"My mom always said that Diem came out fighting since day one."
Brown's dear friend, E! Online correspondent Alicia Quarles remembered what the late reality star told her after they both discovered that cancer was unfortunately spreading to other parts of her body.
"I was saying, 'Dear Lord, please let this pain leave Diem's body.' And she was like, 'What are you talking about? I'm not going anywhere. Pray for peace!" said Quarles to People Magazine when she remembered what Brown told her when they prayed together three weeks ago.
"Death wasn't an option," it was 95 percent determination and 5 percent denial. In her mind she wasn't going to go."
After her death, Brown's former 'The Challenge' cast member (and ex-boyfriend) Chris Tamburello (aka CT) went on social media several times in order to break silence regarding the passing of the woman that he loved dearly.
"You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We've been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn't changed... it's just going to take a little longer now," wrote Tamburello via Instagram on November 19.
"And I'm going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don't worry mama, I'm not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever."
At Brown's funeral, her friends including Quarles paid tribute to the MedGift website creator by reading Bible passages and poems at the solemn gathering at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in New York City on November 18.
"Diem was the happiest person I know," said Quarles to People Magazine.
"Till her last breath, she never gave up. I can't even explain to you her divinity. She talked about her faith in God, her love of family."
The Bible quote that was featured in Brown's program at her funeral symbolized the life of the late woman's courageous battle with cancer before she ultimately met with the Lord face to face last week.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future," according to Proverbs 31.25.
