Christian Hip-Hop Floods iTunes Charts; New Projects From Da' T.R.U.T.H., Flame, and More Spread Gospel Through Rap Music (VIDEOS)
iTunes has been flooded with Christian entertainment for the month of April as faith based movies populate the box office, and every Tuesday a new album from some of Christian music's favorites are released as well. Lets take a look at some of the newly released albums in Christian hip-hop.
Sherwin Gardner - Veinticinco
Sherwin Gardner's latest album Veinticinco topped the iTunes Charts for Trinidad and Tobago on its first day, surpassing albums from both Beyoncé, and Jay Z. The gospel reggae artist is a Breathcast favorite as he combines great quality music with a true heart of worship.
Propaganda -Crimson Cord
The 13 track album released by Humble Beast showcases a diverse sound with standard hip-hop mixed and some old school boom-bap and straightforward poetry.
Clear Sight Music - Jesus or Nothing
Christian hip-hop artist Flame released his compilation album Jesus or Nothing as a Clear Sight album. Jesus or Nothing features Flame, V-Rose, KB, Da' T.R.U.T.H., RealMike, and many others.
Social Club - Misfits 2
South Florida-based Hip-Hop duo Social Club's Misfits 2 album features Billboard-charting emcee Andy Mineo and Grammy-nominated producer Rey King. Misfits is known as a movement of young believers in Jesus who do not fit in.
Da' T.R.U.T.H. - Heartbeat
Christian rapper, Da' T.R.U.T.H. released the title track single off of his chart topping release "Heartbeat" which features Reach Records emcee Lecrae, and singer Lauren Lee. Da' T.R.U.T.H. partnered with Grammy Award winning producer J.R. to produce his 7th studio release Heartbeat on Mixed bag Music group.
