Christian Gospel Singer Jonathan Nelson Shares About His New Album "Finish Strong"?

Praise and Worship artist, Jonathan Nelson, has recently announced the release of his new upcoming album Finish Strong, which was recorded live at the Kingdom Worship Center in Nelsons hometown.

The new album Finish Strong is about when a person is in the struggles of everyday life that they should always continue to work at what their doing and to never give up.  The motive behind this album is to inspire people to always finish strong. "You know we're always getting distracted, wether it be from school or work. Sometimes we just get distracted from what it is that we should be doing from a Spiritual vernacular and that's why we should always 'finish strong' in whatever we do", said Nelson.

Nelson, a preachers son, has been musically inclined throughout his life by being surrounded by Gospel music in his fathers church. Nelson shared about his family saying, "Our family is/was designed for ministry, my father has been a preacher all my life, and he raised us kids for service and to enlighten people. I had no choice, Christian music is apart of the family business."  Nelson has had a large impact on Christian music in a very short time. He has received multiple awards such as; GMA Dove nomination for Best New Artist, Most Singable Song of the year by Gospel Today Magazine, and his album Right Now Praise spent 65 weeks on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart.

Nelsons album will be coming out on April 23rd and he plans for it to be a huge success. "I think that when people hear the songs that their going to get excited and say stuff like, "That's my mantra, that's my song!" when listening to the album", says Nelson. The new album has a upbeat universal message, that still stays true to the Christian Gospel sound. Finish Strong was made to encourage people all across the world, and to ultimately do three things; encourage, inspire, and empower. Nelson continued, "I want to always encourage those to have hope again, and to inspire them to sing the message. Also to empower themselves, by speaking the message and focus on the goal in mind".  Nelson has been on the road and promoting his new album through social media, and a multitude of internet and radio interviews. On April 23, Nelson will be doing a CD release concert that night in Baltimore, Maryland at 7:30 p.m. with free admission to the public.
