Chris Tomlin's 'Love Ran Red' Earns Top Christian Album Nomination at 2015 Billboard Awards

Christian worship artist Chris Tomlin was nominated for Top Christian Album at the 2015 Billboard Awards for Love Ran Red.

Also nominated in the Top Christian Artist category are: Lecrae, Hillsong UNITED, Casting Crowns, and the Newsboys. In the Top Christian Song category are: Francesca Battistelli (He Knows My Name), Hillsong United, (Oceans [Where Feet May Fail]), Newsboys (We Believe), and Carrie Underwood (Something in the Water). 

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will be broadcast live on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, at 8 pm ET. 

Tomlin recently announced "Worship Night in America" event, which will feature a few of his anointed and talented friends.

Other artists who will be appearing for the concerts are Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Israel Houghton, Phil Wickham, Matt Maher, Rend Collective, and Hillsong's Reuben Morgan. Louie Giglio and Max Lucado will also be on hand to speak at the concerts.

Tickets for the events went on sale on March 20.

"My heart is for all of us, the church, to come together and worship around one name, and that's the name of Jesus," he said in the announcement trailer. Tomlin also shared that he hopes these events bring out a revival in America.
