Chris Pratt & Chris Evans News: Star-Lord & Captain America Visit Seattle Children's Hospital
New reports are claiming that actors Chris Pratt and Chris Evans recently went to Seattle Children's Hospital to visit the kids and brought along with them Marvel merchandise as gifts.
What started off as a bet between the two superhero actors, went on to become a surprising and exciting time for the kids at the hospital.
As part of the Super Bowl bet, Pratt bet that if his favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl, Evans would visit the Seattle Children's Hospital dressed as Captain America. And if Evans' team, the New England Patriots won the game, Pratt would visit Christopher's Haven in Boston dressed as "Guardians of the Galaxy' character Star-Lord, according to CNN.
Although, the New England Patriots won the game, both the actors paid visits to both the hospitals. Pratt wore his Star-Lord costume and paid a visit to the Boston Children's Hospital, along with Evans in February.
During their second visit, Evans was dressed as Captain America. Older patients and the young children seemed equally delighted. Maggie Mittelstaedt, an 18-year-old patient being treated at the hospital, said, "I was so excited when I heard they were planning to come to Seattle Children's. Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avenger movies are my favorites, so I was hoping I might get a chance to meet them," according to SeattleChildrens.Org.
The hospital later tweeted, saying, "A superhero size THANK YOU to @prattprattpratt & @ChrisEvans for visiting our patients today! #TwitterBowl."
Chris Evans also tweeted, saying, "Well, well, well @prattprattpratt, looks like our teams are going into battle. For the next 2 weeks, you are not my friend, you are my enemy."
The two superheroes handed out action figures, toys and other cool merchandise, to all the kids getting treated at the hospital.
