Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence have broken up for a second time, according to an exclusive report from Us Weekly.

An insider confirmed that the two split due to conflicting schedules. "Jen has been working nonstop and they never see each other," said the insider.

The couple had been dating for nearly a year, and split for a month last winter before getting back together again in December.

Since they broke up, Lawrence has been spending a lot more time with her ex boyfriend and X-Men: Apocalypse co star, Nicholas Hoult.

The source adds that she and Hoult are on very good terms now and that their families have stayed close.

The pair recently posed for a smiling selfie with director Bryan Singer.

While it is still up in the air about whether or not they will reunite, things seem to have officially ended between Lawrence and Martin, who was recently sen going for a stroll at 1 am with Kylie Minogue in London, though Minogue's representative denied that they were romantically involved.

The source added that the couple's romance just ran its course.

It is still not confirmed whether or not Hoult and Lawrence will be appearing together at next week's Comic Con convention in San Diego, California, where there will be an X-Men celebration.

Apparently, it is common knowledge that Hoult is still in love with Lawrence and planned to try and woo her while they were on set together.

Lawrence and Martin have always kept their relationship private, having never even confirmed it, so it will likely always be a mystery what caused the breakup.
