Chris Klein, 36, of American Pie and Election fame has tied the knot with Laina Rose Thyfault, 30, after a four-year relationship.

The couple said their vows this month in an outdoor church at the beautiful Rainbow Ranch in Montana, right on the banks of the Gallatin River at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.

Amidst native grasses, sage and flowers of a soft colour palette, Chris and Laina exchanged vows in front of 115 friends and family.

"Laina and Chris wanted to stay true to the nature of Montana," explained Jennifer Horsley, wedding planner at Habitat Events, to PEOPLE magazine, when asked about the colour scheme.

The couple seem to be in sync, both of them nature-lovers and already hinting at future little Kleins: 'Future husband, future baby daddy!' being a twitter posted by Lainaof Chris.

Chris, who previously dated Ginnifer Goodwin, was also previously engaged to Katie Holmes after a 5-year relationship.

He said of the engagement to PEOPLE magazine, "Katie and I were on a journey together. I was the actor who played Oz in American Pie and she was the actress who played Joey Potter in Dawson's Creek; we were like prom king and queen."

Chris met Laina, a travel agent, at a mutual friends wedding. They got engaged in Venice Beach last December, and never looked back. This is his first marriage.

Chris looked suave in a bespoke Shoreditch London 3-piece suit on the happiest day of his life. He seems to have found his footing after some problematic years of alcohol addiction.

A second DUI in 2010 woke him up and, after months of rehabilitation, found solid ground again. The future looks bright for the Out of the Burning Blue star.
